Music Ministry

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to spread the Word of God through music and song, lead the congregation in worship, provide an avenue to win new souls to Christ and encourage believers in their walk with Christ. Our various choirs render music during worship services and special services outside of Mt. Vernon. Being a part of this ministry requires commitment and dedication from each musician, choir member and officer.

Scripture: Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
